2005 Season Journal

1/05:   It's very easy to become complacent in your everyday activity.  It takes a strong person to continually want to achieve better for them self and their team.  What are you doing? Have you become complacent?  Do you want more or are you satisfied with what you have?  I know I’m not satisfied...I can do more!  Can you?

10/11: If you want to know what I'm thinking check out my webblog at the above address.

10/3:  What are you doing to make yourself better???????

9/12:   Everyday you don't practice is another day you don't get better.  Everyone needs to start working now to make yourself better during the season.

7/24:  The game didn't end up the way we had hoped for but we did learn a lot from it.  Seniors, I appreciate your dedication over the past five years and hope for the best in the future for you.  I have no doubt in my mind that each one of you will achieve great things in future.  Keep in touch and come visit whenever. Remember practice and my classroom will always be open to you.  For everyone else, I believe each one of you grew as a person and player.  We have a lot of work to do in the off season if we want to achieve great things.  Don't settle for average........WANT MORE!!!!

7/19:  Great win tonight! You did everything needed in order to win.  We had good pitching, solid defense and timely hitting.  Let’s continue to get better and better with each game.  I'm proud of how you all stuck together from the beginning of the game to the end of the game. Let's get another one tomorrow.

7/14:  Isn't winning fun

7/13:  Good win last night!  Let’s minimize the errors and go for another win tomorrow.

7/11:  Finally, we get to play.  We hit the ball and played solid defense the first game. The second game was a different story.  We need to play better defense.  When we come to play softball we need be thinking about softball(nothing else)! Be ready for a fun tournament in Coring next week.

7/7:  RAIN, RAIN go away!!!

7/2:  Good WIN today!  Enjoy the weekend and be ready for a tough week ahead.  We play some of the top teams in the state next week and nothing but the best will cut it.  Get yourself physically and MENTALLY prepared.  I look forward to the competition!

7/1:  Get in the wheelbarrow and let's go for a ride.  Great D tonight!  Now let's wake up those bats. Focus and be ready for tomorrow.  P.S. I hate the letter L !!  Drive SAFE

6/30:  Today we played the Best and didn't perform to our BEST!  Next time be ready because you never know if there will be a next time.
